Hörnerdörfer Tour

We start our tour at the center of the village in front of the Fischinger Church over the Hörnerdörfer. We leave Fischen along Weilerstraße in a northern direction, turn right before the B19 and reach Weiler through the underpass.
From the outskirts of the village, we are surrounded by cool mixed forest, which we only leave again shortly before Tiefenberg.
From there, we follow the signs to Schweineberg, which we reach after a few minutes. Open pasture areas and forest sections shape the landscape on our next stage over the Wittelsbacher Höhe to Westerhofen. From here, a steadily steep ascent follows, leading through a wooded passage to Ofterschwang, where our view falls on the impressive Ofterschwanger Horn. A well-developed path guides us over the Weiler Muderbolz to Dietrichs. The bumpy forest road is replaced by an asphalt road in a wooded area.
After a golf course, we soon pass Dietrichs. Upon arriving in Untermühlegg, we immediately turn right and move towards Riedle.
From there, we follow the road to Bolsterlang.
The view back falls on the Grünten with the transmission facility on the summit. Surrounded by lush green pastures, we reach Bolsterlang before coming to Obermaiselstein via Sonderdorf.

After a detour to Oberdorf, we cycle back to Fischen over the lush green meadows in a curve, where we can conclude the tour with a relaxed stroll through the village. Besides Fischen, Obermaiselstein, Bolsterlang, and Ofterschwang also offer good places to eat and starting points for the Hörnerdörfer tour.
