The 10 ha natural bathing lake was developed by the municipality of Holdorf into an attractive leisure and recreation center (with extensive natural restoration). With its clear water, shady bushes, and a divided bathing area for swimmers and non-swimmers including lawns, Heidesee is an ideal lake for bathing and relaxation for the whole family. In addition, this route passes through many charming villages.
