The route starts at the Tourist Information Bitburger Land and leads via the cycle path through the town towards Scharfbillig - Idenheim - Welschbillig.
In Welschbillig. From Welschbillig the cycle path continues to Helenenberg. From there you cross under the B51 towards Eisenach via an underpass.
Stop briefly at the Cornoa memorial stone and enjoy the view.
The cycle path now leads downhill to Minden. In Minden you follow the Sauer cycle path to Irrel.
In Irrel, take the Nims cycle path back to Bitburg, the starting point of the route.
