You start at the Bronze Age farm in Uelsen. The Bronze Age farm is an archaeological open-air museum where you can travel directly into the past. The impressive reconstruction of a farm from this period offers visitors insights into life in Uelsen during the Bronze Age. After the time travel, you cycle through the holiday area and the residential area Waterfall into the slightly hilly forest area of the Uelsen hill. After a gentle ascent, you go down through the forest on a gravel path to the Fertenbach valley with its kratte oaks, a bushy-branched type of oak, and through forest and heath areas to Wilsum. Here a detour to Schoonevelds water mill is worthwhile. It continues over gentle hills to Esche into the Vechtetal. Past the nature reserve and the art trail station Brüna’s Heide, the route leads again over small hills at Spöllberg (art trail station) along the meadow landscape in Hardinghausen back to Uelsen.
