An extended but not too difficult route with the highlight of visiting the Gräfenstein castle ruins. We first ride in the valley of the Rodalb, cross a small ridge into the valley of the Lauter, and then come through the valley of the Merzalbe near Clausen with a somewhat more vigorous climb. After that, it goes initially with pleasure, then very steeply, back into the Rodalb valley. Gräfenstein Castle majestically towers on the sandstone rock. A route that has it all: castle, mountain, forest, meadows and water.
