Bike route through the villages to Verona. On the way back, you go along the Adige canal and then climb the hill properly before returning to Garda.
Mostly on low-traffic roads and bike paths. Partly hilly route requiring at least some fitness (or a fully charged battery for the e-bike)!

You can start leisurely along the lake over Bardolino to Lazise to warm up your legs before, after 10 kilometers, tackling the first elevation parallel to the coastal road. Shortly after, turn left (signpost to Colá) and then cycle over hilly terrain further to Sandrá and from there via Palazzolo ultimately to Bussolengo.
Here is the first chance to catch your breath! After descending the mountain passage, it goes flat through two villages and from there straight ahead on a well-developed bike path to the center of Verona!
Return journey: We follow the bike path again along the Adige canal, including the climb through Bussolengo and then continue for another good 10 kilometers along the canal until it disappears directly into a rock.
The bike path crosses the canal, and then you first pedal (or push) steeply uphill! After the climb, it continues in several waves and after a final effort you reach the center of Rivoli Veronesi. Shortly after, you cross the Brenner motorway and after a final climb near Albare it finally goes quickly downhill back to Garda.
Parking
Parking for free in Garda itself is not so easily possible during the season (about early April to end of September). Vehicles can be parked for a fee in several parking lots (e.g., opposite the cemetery - Via Caboto). Outside the season, parking lots are mostly free of charge.
