A route for the whole family with beautiful natural paths.
The route starts in Olten and follows the Aare to Aarburg and Boningen. From here, the path often goes through the forest on beautiful natural paths to Fulenbach and further on to Wolfwil. Up to here, the route is part of the Aare route by Schweiz Mobil. In Wolfwil, however, we take the road to Kestenholz, where we join the Jura South Foot route and return to Olten on beautiful side roads a bit off the villages.
At the end, you can treat yourself to a fine ice cream in one of the delicious gelaterias in Olten.
Note(s)
It is an easy and flat route, well suited for families.
In Fulenbach, you can visit the deer park or in Niederbuchsiten, the experience exhibition of the JURAworld of coffee as well as the Roger Federer Walk of Fame (Mon-Sat) is open for visitors.

Author’s recommendation
In Fulenbach, the deer park can be visited. The route also passes by the Fulenbacher Waldhaus, where there is a nice children's playground offering kids a varied break.

The paths are often natural roads.
Tips and suggestions
The route can be shortened anywhere. In Boningen, you can go via Kappel to Hägendorf and back to Olten, then it is a "Around the Born route".
In Fulenbach, you can shorten via Härkingen or Neuendorf and in Wolfwil you can go directly to Niederbuchsiten.
Those who follow the Aare route a little further in Wolfwil will come to the Aare ferry, where you can also stop for a break. You can find out about the ferry's opening hours over the Aare here.
