Federsee-Bussen circular route

Follow the signage: Route 13

Leave Bad Buchau heading towards Kanzach and follow Route 13 up to the town sign of Dürmentingen. Shortly before the bridge at the railway embankment from the Kanzach direction, an old pilgrimage path continues. This path follows the railway embankment to the town center, or the information point. From there, continue along the chapel path to the Loreto Chapel.

Turn right downhill to the railway embankment and follow it to the left. Pass the new chapel until you reach the connecting road Burgau-Heudorf. There, turn left uphill to the Heerweg, passing a wayside shrine. Turn right here and then right again downhill to the Kanzach valley and continue to Hailtingen.

Go past the community center through the Dentinger valley to Offingen. The final section goes steeply uphill from Offingen to the Bussen.

The return route leads again via Offingen to Dentingen and then to Betzenweiler. Here, follow the signage of the Upper Swabia-Allgäu Path around the Federsee back to Bad Buchau.
