Faicchio - Benevento cycle path
Bike route that leads from Faicchio to explore the charming villages of the Benevento area, ending in the provincial capital of Campania
The route runs for just over 60 km in the Campanian hinterland, crossing some of the most beautiful villages in the province of Benevento.
From Faicchio, an elegant village at the foot of Mount Acerro, you reach the beautiful historic center of San Lorenzello, along a panoramic road with wide views of the surrounding valley.
Then you cross the town of Cerreto Sannita, with its beautiful churches and palaces, and then head towards Guardia Sanframondi, cycling through olive groves and vineyards. After crossing the Janare Bridge, a place rich in local legends, the route takes us to the villages of San Lupo and Casalduni, the latter rich in rest areas and small gardens with water fountains that invite you to stop.
You then continue towards Fragneto Monforte, with its beautiful historic center, then reach Pietrelcina, a stone village that was the birthplace of Padre Pio, and finally immerse yourself in the center of Benevento, where the route ends in front of the Cathedral of the provincial capital of Campania.
