The Enzrunde leads from Pforzheim through calming forests along the mountain edge and offers beautiful views of the Enz up to Neuenbürg. Return is downstream back.
The Enzrunde is a leisurely route with only occasional elevation meters, featuring relaxed forest paths right along the hillside. It mostly goes through beautiful forests, past moss-covered boulders. On the way, a short rest at a small creek is worthwhile before continuing through the forest to Neuenbürg. There, a visit to Neuenbürg Castle is recommended. From there, the route follows the Enz river downstream back to Pforzheim. At first still alongside the road, it soon returns to the forest for a relaxed return.
Author’s recommendation
A trip to Neuenbürg Castle is worthwhile not only because of the beautiful view from up there.

In Dillweißenstein, you have to ride a stretch on the car lane. Furthermore, there is a short stretch on the country road in Größeltal, which is quiet but could be busier especially on sunny days. In Neuenbürg, part of the route is also shared with cars.
Otherwise, as always: a helmet and a well-maintained bike are good insurance. Please treat everyone else with caution and respect.

Pforzheim/Sonnenberg - Größeltal - Neuenbürg - Birkenfeld - Hanfackerweg - Sonnenberg/Parking lot
Starting from the Waisenhausplatz in Pforzheim, follow the Nagold upstream to Dillweißenstein. Climb the hill up to the Sonnenberg hiking parking lot. From there, follow the Water Pipeline Path along the hillside into the Größeltal. There is a short stretch on a quiet country road past the Größeltal inn and back into the forest. The path runs along the hillside, so not many elevation meters have to be overcome. After leaving the forest, there is a wide view of Neuenbürg and it goes steeply downhill into the town. In Neuenbürg, there are various sightseeing options, such as the Neuenbürg Castle, which is located on the hill. From Engelsbrander Straße, the route heads back towards Pforzheim along the Enz downstream to Birkenfeld/Birkensteg. From there, it follows the Enz into the city center of Pforzheim and thus back to the starting point.
