Mecklenburgische Kleinseenplatte
The end moraine is what has shaped this wonderful landscape since the last ice age. Over 10,000 years ago, massive ice masses melted here, leaving ribbon lakes, ponds, erratic boulders, and block deposits. The start and finish point of this route is the Kneipp spa resort Feldberger Seenlandschaft. The path goes over a partly challenging elevation profile past some scenic and cultural highlights, such as the Reiherberg viewpoint, the Feldberger Hütte nature reserve, the monastery mill and the Baroque palace Boitzenburg, the erratic rock garden near Carwitz, and the Hans-Fallada-Museum.
Several bathing spots along the route invite you to a short refreshment.
