Drau cycle path stage 1: Dobbiaco-Lienz

The Drau cycle path is perfectly signposted throughout (R1, Austria green, Slovenia red, Croatia blue). There are corresponding signs at all junctions/junctions (arrows or place and direction signs, sometimes with km information). The most important repair tools/pumps are always available at rest areas, as well as bike stores and repair shops in most larger towns. The entire route runs either on cycle paths or very low-traffic side roads, approx. 70% on asphalt, the rest on well-maintained paved surfaces.
