Touristikgemeinschaft Odenwald
The dialect route currently runs from Mosbach-Neckarelz via Mudau to Tauberbischofsheim, thus crossing several language regions. Newly included is the so-called "Buchener Loop," which connects the already existing dialect route between Walldürn and Langenelz. In addition, all districts of Buchen are integrated as their own loop, thus forming the "Buchener Loop."
Initiated by the Mudau local heritage association under the leadership of Hans Slama and in cooperation with the Buchen District Museum, this dialect route offers another tourist attraction in the region. The project aims to take you on a journey through the Franconian dialect region. Language examples and location-specific backgrounds can be listened to on site at the cycling route stations via panels using QR codes on your phone, but you can also simply listen to and view all the stations on the Buchen District Museum website. In cases of comprehension difficulties, the standard German text serves as assistance.
