Arrival by train:
The Neusiedler See is easily and comfortably accessible by train. Whether you are coming from Switzerland, Germany, the west or south of Austria: You can change trains comfortably at Vienna Main Station. The regional trains of ÖBB will take you to Neusiedl am See station in just under 40 minutes, where coordinated bus and train connections towards Gols are also offered. Bicycle transport is possible on most trains: On the Railjet and EC/IC as well as on Nightjets, a reservation for your bicycle is absolutely necessary. On regional trains, your bicycle is carried without reservation depending on availability of bicycle spaces.
