A nature-oriented bike tour, also easy to manage for less fit riders; beautiful view of the Donnersberg; at the end of the tour, the route runs through the spa park between Bad Münster am Stein and Bad Kreuznach with the healthy, salty air at the saltworks
Mostly asphalt paths, partly quiet district roads and bike paths along roads, but also a short section on the B48. For nature conservation reasons, some sections are not paved.
Very hilly character with many short climbs (< 20 meters elevation) and descents. Three somewhat longer climbs, including a very steep section between Imsweiler and Rockenhausen (> 10%)
Author’s recommendation
For a break, the natural adventure pool and the castle park invite you in Rockenhausen. Additionally, the da Giovanni ice cream café in Alsenz (directly at the marketplace) is highly recommended.
