Circular route through Stutensee
Stutensee is the fourth largest city in the Karlsruhe district. It was only formed in 1975 as part of the territorial reform from the formerly independent towns of Blankenloch, Friedrichstal, Spöck, and Staffort. The administration is located in Blankenloch. The city is named after Schloss Stutensee, which is located in the center of the four districts.
The just under 30 km long circular route leads from the train station in Blankenloch through the Hardtwald to Friedrichstal and from there to Baggersee Spöck. Through Spöck and Staffort it goes to Baggersee Staffort and from the lake to Schloss Stutensee. The starting point in Blankenloch is finally reached via the Blankenloch district of Büchig.

The starting point of the 30 km long circular route is at the train station in Blankenloch. From the station, first follow the bike path signs to Eggenstein. The signs lead you through the railway underpass and along Eggensteiner Straße into the Hardtwald, where you turn right at the first intersection after the Blankenloch sports field into Friedrichstaler Allee towards Friedrichstal.
In Friedrichstal, continue along Parkstraße West and after the railway underpass on Parkstraße Ost to Grabener Straße, where you turn left. At the edge of the town, turn left to the Friedrichstal-Nord S-Bahn stop and then follow the bike path signs to Baggersee-Spöck. The well-marked path initially runs along the railway track northwards, then after 1300 m turns east to the model airfield. There turn left into the forest and finally cycle along the forest edge to Baggersee Spöck.
From the lake, follow the bike path signs to Spöck. In Spöck, the signs take you via Speyerer Straße, Friedrichstraße, and Waldhornstraße to Spechaastraße, where you turn left following the signs to Staffort/Blankenloch.
At the edge of Spöck, follow Henhöferstraße and Brunnenstraße in the direction of Staffort. The signs lead to K 3579. Turn left onto the road-adjacent bike path until the junction towards Karlsruhe/Blankenloch, where you turn right. After 500 m, turn left to Baggersee Staffort. From the Baggersee Staffort, follow the bike path signs to Schloss Stutensee and from Schloss Stutensee follow the bike path signs back to Blankenloch.
At L 559 at the entrance of Blankenloch, turn left along the country road to the Vogelpark exit. From here, follow the signs to Karlsruhe. The signs lead past the school center to the southern end of Blankenloch, where you then follow the signs to Blankenloch-Büchig onto a pedestrian and bike path into the Blankenloch district of Büchig.
In Büchig, follow the bike path signs to the district road and after crossing the road follow the bike path signs to Karlsruhe-Stadion. It goes into the Hardtwald, where you turn right at the first intersection onto Stutenseer Allee towards Blankenloch, the starting point of the route.
