A beautiful and scenic route that follows the course of the Bóbr River.

    Distance 122.1 km
    10:00 h
    810 m
    1,163 m
    518 m
    173 m

The route is divided into two very different sections, with the dividing point at Siedlęcin. The upper part is easily accessible and mostly runs on well-developed asphalt paths. This section is also suitable for families. The second part is very demanding. From Siedlęcin to Górczyca, it goes over difficult, steep field and forest paths that are often rocky or overgrown. MTB bikes are mandatory for this part.

    Roadbook

    1. Lubawka - Dębrznik (Sędzisław)
On this first section, you mainly cycle on quiet asphalt roads along the river and between fields, accompanied by beautiful views. Note that the route is currently (until expected autumn 2023) crossed three times by the construction of the S3 expressway.

    2. Dębrznik - Janowice Wielkie
This section is an asphalt pleasure route with beautiful mountains and views, near the river. A certain challenge is the gravel climb to Miedzianka, but it is fairly easy to manage in this direction.

    3. Janowice Wielkie - Jelenia Góra
This third section is simply beautiful and particularly suitable for a family outing. On the way, you pass some architectural attractions (Valley of the Castles) as well as beautiful views.

    4. Jelenia Góra - Siedlęcin
We follow a narrow hiking trail named after Marian Południkiewicz in a spectacular river gorge formation. Along the way, we pass the Pearl of the West (former Turmsteinbaude). The section ends with the Knight's Tower in Siedlęcin.

    5. Siedlęcin - Górczyca
This section is the epitome of offroad cycling. At the beginning, you cycle on a very impressive rock ledge over the Jezioro Wrzeszczyńskie reservoir. The next very demanding section is from Barcinek to the dam in Pilchowice – you ride mostly over steep descents and loose stones. On the forest section towards Wleń, there is a ford you have to cross.

    6. Górczyca - Bolesławiec
The last part of the route is very pleasant to ride. You cross another ford near Lwówek.
