The highlight is undoubtedly the treetop path in Fischbach at the Biosphere House. Where else can you look out from the treetops at a height of 35 meters? The treetop path winds at a height of 18 meters through the branches. For the treetop walk and visit to the exhibition at the Biosphere House, you should allow about 2 hours. There and back you cycle right through the Palatinate Forest/North Vosges Biosphere Reserve. Nature and culture have entered into a close, changeable relationship here over centuries. Ensuring this continues is the goal of this designation. Between the Lauter valley and the Sauer valley you have to gain altitude twice. However, this is relatively easy. There are beautiful corners, wonderful rest options, and pure nature with many eye-catchers. Except for a short section from the Wolfsägetal uphill to the mountain saddle at Hohlen Felsen (where there is still a small gravel section), the path is asphalted.
