Family-friendly bike route through the Biebertal, open fields and meadows as well as the dense forests of the Hunsrück.
The family-friendly bike route on the Biebertal circular path connects all six villages of the Biebertal over a total length of about 26 kilometers. The wide valley owes its name to the eponymous stream, which rises above Wüschheim and winds through the Hunsrück villages until it finally flows into the Kauerbach near Unzenberg. In summer, many benches or one or another meadow invite you like a natural viewing terrace to a picnic. On the way, you experience a typical basin Hunsrück landscape with views into the Biebertal; often the view extends even further to the Soonwald or Kirchberg. Variety is also offered by a stop at the airfield in Nannhausen, the churches in Biebern, and the adventure playground in Reich.

From the barbecue hut in Wüschheim, turn right along the edge of the forest and after 600 m via the "small loop" reach the Biebertal circular route. We continue straight through Wüschheim and soon reach Reich at the war memorial (2.5 km). From there we continue to Biebern with a beautiful view of the two churches (4.5 km). Through the village center we go on to Fronhofen, whose southeastern end is "brushed" during the crossing of the Bieberbach valley (6.9 km). First uphill over meadows and fields, then we soon ride rapidly downhill through the forest to Nickweiler (9.5 km). From here, initially climbing further to Nannhausen airfield (11.4 km). We leave the village to the left and from the Nannhausen cemetery at the K18 we ride through the forest up to above Fronhofen (14.6 km). On the way towards Reich and further towards Wüschheim, wide views of the Hunsrück valley with its communities reveal themselves, and far beyond to Kirchberg and the Soonwald. Through fields and meadows along the Gossberg (20.9 km), after the spring area the highest elevation of the Biebertal, we enter the forest (21.5 km). For a length of 4.7 km we discover the forest until shortly before Wüschheim, with its atmosphere of silence, colors and diverse scents. Coming out of the forest (26.2 km), we turn directly left back to the barbecue hut (26.7 km) or for refreshment continue further to the water treading basin (another 400 m).
