Between Pleiße and Sprotte ... searching for stamps

This route was not about speed or distance, but simply about cycling and enjoying …. My route starts at a small commuter parking lot directly at the Schmölln motorway junction. Passing beautiful and interesting houses, it goes from village to village up to the Renaissance castle in Ponitz. Those who want to visit the castle should check the opening hours in advance! There is a sign in the park showing various cycling routes in Altenburger Land … that is also quite worth seeing ;-) From here it continues to Schmölln, where stamps await as well as the Nödenitzsch observation tower. A terrain-capable bike is an advantage for this, alternatively you can cycle along the signposted cycle paths. You can also make a detour to Posterstein Castle - it was even open and there's ice cream too. The way back then goes very relaxed from village to village past beautiful and interesting houses.
