This ride around the third-largest lake in Mecklenburg takes us along narrow paths. We always stay very close to the water.

Roadbook
We start our route at the highest lifting bridge in Mecklenburg. Passing the local history museum and the castle tower, we head towards Plauer See. We cross the federal road and reach Quetzin. Now we follow a separate cycle path along the federal road to the large intersection. Here our route turns right to Karower Meiler. This information center describes the landscape of the Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heide Nature Park. The northwestern part of Plauer See with its former peat-cutting area belongs to this region. A small path leads us a little further along the federal road from Karower Meiler. Then it continues on beautiful forest paths to Wendorf. The inn "Zur Forelle" is a popular place to stop in this village. The further section to Lenz is one of the most beautiful parts of the route. We ride through beech forests always directly along the lake shore. In Lenz, the "Lenzer Krug" invites you to take a break. Now we reach Lenzer Höh and follow a small, adventurous path along the lake shore. The blue horizontal bar reliably shows us the way. We continue to Zislow with the nature camping site "Zwei Seen" and the forest and lake view camp. Both campsites offer beautiful bathing beaches. The lakeside path leads us further to Suckow up to Bad Stuer. From Stuer Hintermühle, a wonderfully beautiful path leads us through the dense lakeside forest to Dresenower Mühle. Now Seelust with its pier and outdoor pool is not far. The last section takes us along avenue paths past Plötzenhöhe and back to the lifting bridge in Plau am See.
