A beautiful and easy cycling route that is also well suited for children. Easy uphill and downhill sections on paved road, partly on cycling paths, and also fun trails for kids!
This route can be cycled with sturdier mountain bikes and mountain bikes. The route runs along the edge of Levitunturi, following the sandy trail of the Ounasjoki River to the reindeer farm. This route bypasses the steep slope of Utsuvaara. Part of the route runs along a road without a separate light traffic lane, but in summer and autumn there is little traffic on the road, so it is safe to cycle also with school-age children. Changing terrain, views, and the sandy road make this route fun and interesting also for the younger members of the family. Along the route, you can take a break at the Pavilion café at Levi Golf (hole 12) or continue to the Gondoli2000 lower station for lunch, ice cream, and coffee. Here children can spend time at the adventure park before you continue cycling towards Levi center.
Sammun Tupa reindeer farm halfway along the route is open from June 18th Wed - Fri at 11:15 and during the autumn colors Tue - Sat from 11:00 to 15:00
