Safety information
Mostly on cycle and farm roads, sometimes along the street through the villages.Tips and suggestions
The route can alternatively be started from any place. Larger parking lots are available at the bathing beaches. You can find bike rentals in Moos, Horn, and Öhningen.Roadbook
The starting point of the route is the parking lot of the Edeka market at the entrance of Moos. Behind the parking lot, you can turn right directly onto the Lake Constance cycle path towards Stein am Rhein. The Höri villages now line up close to the shore, surrounded by orchards and fields. In Horn, you meet Hornstaaderstraße. Here, turn left and shortly before the little castle, turn into Strandweg. Along the street, turn half-left and pass by the Horn bathing beach. Back on the farm road/lake cycle path, turn left towards Gaienhofen. In Gaienhofen, take a left onto the main street and now partly on the street, but mostly on cycle paths via Hemmenhofen, Marbach, and Wangen to Kattenhorn. At the height, turn off, go down Schlossstraße, and cycle on the cycle path to Öhningen and Stein am Rhein. You meet the through street, turn left, and continue into the historic old town of Stein am Rhein. Through the town gate, leave Stein am Rhein, passing vineyards towards Hemishofen. Here, head inland on the cycle path to Ramsen. In Ramsen, the path leads right over the railway line to Wiesholz. At the foot of Schienerberg, follow the farm road past Hittisheim. After Hittisheimer Hof, leave the paved road and let the village of Bohlingen remain on your left. Cross K6160 towards Ziegelhof. At the crossroads, the path leads right into "Im Moosfeld" to the edge of the forest near Moos. Now, turn left onto the paved road and go straight to the stop. On the left, after a few meters, you return to the starting point.
