A nice circular route around Forggensee, fun for the whole family
The route starts at one of the parking lots in the town of Füssen. From there, it goes across the town to the entrance to the well-signposted cycle path. A mostly paved road runs along the shore. There are many spots to stop for swimming and eating. At the northern end of the lake, there is a kiosk that provides tools for bicycle repairs. After a short climb, it goes downhill again towards Füssen, running between Forggensee and Bannwaldsee. Past Schwangau, the destination is not far.
