The spa and district town of Bad Dürkheim is located on the edge of the Palatinate Forest on the German Wine Route. It gained national and international fame through the Dürkheimer Wurstmarkt as well as the Dürkheimer giant barrel. Attractions along the route include the graduation tower, the Seebach monastery church, the flag tower, the castle church, and the spa park.

Roadbook
The starting point of the route is at the train station in Bad Dürkheim. From the starting point, it goes via Mannheimer Straße to Römerplatz in the city center of Bad Dürkheim and from there via Römerstraße and Kaiserslauterer Straße to the roundabout at B 37. From here you cycle on the designated cycle path to the Bad Dürkheim district of Hausen. In Hausen turn left into Hausener Weg. It leads into the Eppental, which you pass through to the Drei Eichen parking lot.
From the parking lot, it goes back towards Bad Dürkheim. Via Hammelstalstraße you reach the district of Seebach (monastery church), where you turn right from Seebacher Straße into Krähhölenweg (here you have the opportunity for a walk to the nearby flag tower). Past the Mundhardter Hof the route leads on Enge Weg through the weekend house settlement to L 516 at the entrance to Wachenheim.
After crossing the country road, you ride on the paved farm road along the edge of Wachenheim always straight ahead to B 271 near Villa Rustica. After crossing the federal road, you meet the cycling path "Reben-& Rüben-Runde". On it, the route goes via Friedelsheim, Gönnheim, Ellerstadt and Birkenheide back to the starting point.
