Route description:
The starting point of the circular route is the Landstuhl train station. From the station, you travel along the Sickingen Mühlenradweg past the runways of the Air Base via Ramstein to Miesenbach. From Miesenbach, you follow the Barbarossa cycle path towards Weilerbach. The partly paved path leads around the US military area via Mackenbach, past Weilerbach, through Rodenbach to Siegelbach. Between Siegelbach and Kaiserslautern, shortly before the Vogelwoog, a popular excursion destination, you leave the Barbarossa path. Directly after the highway underpass, turn right onto the paved cycle path. It leads to the Vogelweh industrial area. You ride at the Opel roundabout towards the Opel factories and bypass the large parking lot to the north. The paved road leads between the Opel premises and the US military area to Einsiedlerhof. In Einsiedlerhof, you ride through the industrial area to the end of Von-Miller-Straße. Then cross Jakob-Pfeiffer-Straße and turn left into Weilerbacher Straße 50 m later. After 500 m, turn right (Ramsteiner Straße) towards Kindsbach. In Kindsbach, you meet the Sickingen Mühlenradweg in front of the S-Bahn station, which leads you back to the starting point in Landstuhl.
