The Aartalsee cycle route runs from Herborn (Lahn-Dill district) over the Aartalsee lake to the border of the Gießen district. It passes the attractive leisure options of the Aartalsee. The 82-hectare Aartalsee invites you to linger: Here you can swim, camp, fish, surf, or enjoy nature in the lake's protected area.
You can arrive by train to Herborn. From there, you follow the Aartalsee cycle route to Bischoffen. On weekends, you can return from here by the 'Blue Line' buses, or cycle on the RMV Route 8 (38 km) to Sinn and the last section on the Dill Valley cycle path back to Herborn.
