The 100 km route runs almost straight north, descending from the highest point of the Kraichgau into the Neckar valley. From here it follows the Neckar to NeckargemĂŒnd, along the Elsenz valley to Meckesheim, and from there along the Schwarzbach valley to Waibstadt. From Neckarbischofsheim it goes up the Krebsbach valley back to Rappenau. By passing through the river valleys, the heights of the small Odenwald are bypassed, making the 100 km manageable

From Rappenau, it goes via a well-developed bike path to HĂŒffenhardt and from there over forest and woodland paths to the hill of the Genopark near Obrigheim, the highest point of the route. From here, it descends over fields and forest paths down to Guttenbach. Following the Neckar Valley bike path, it goes downstream via Eberbach and Hirschhorn to NeckargemĂŒnd. From there it goes to Wiesenbach. Along the Elsenz, it goes from Bammental via Mauer to Meckesheim. At Meckesheim the route follows a narrow footpath through the underpass underneath the railway line to Waibstadt. On the other side of the road, the Elsenz is crossed at the gauging station, and the route follows the Schwarzbach to Neckarbischofsheim-Nord station. Over the Krebsbach valley, it goes up to Obergimpern, from where it returns to Bad Rappenau.
