In the middle section, do not drive too far right into the protective forest. Otherwise, the main danger is not from avalanches but from hunters!Tips and suggestions
Roadbook
From the Seekopflift top station or Zürserseebahn, head north following the blue No. 17 and then immediately turn onto No. 18. Between the slopes, there are often some nice turns to make. At a suitable spot where it gets steeper, leave the slope on the left side and make some nice turns in quite steep terrain just next to the slope (beware of terrain traps!) before reaching the flat ground. Now always head towards Madlochalpe and pass it on the left side. With heavy new snow, you may need to push here a bit, but usually, there is a track leading directly to the large wooden cross.
From here, continue directly along the ridge between scattered trees and dwarf pines, descending until the terrain flattens again. At the end, cross the bridge and push the last few meters to the Wiesele bus stop.
