Ab der Bergstation Gaislachkogel die Piste Richtung Norden nehmen und an der Kreuzung nach skiers left folgen. Kurz nach der nächsten Spitzkehre der Piste die Piste nach skiers left in das beginnende und offensichtliche Kar verlassen. Dem steiler werdenen Kar schliesslich folgen bis man wieder auf die Pisten im Rettenbachtal trifft.

Von der gegenüberliegenden Bergseite am Giggijoch kann man sich einen hoervorragenden Einblick in das alpine Gelände verschaffen - wenig erfahrenen Ridern sei dies dringend empfohlen! Diese Seite des Berges ist generell sehr steil und duldet keine Fehler.
