A scenic absolute highlight and also a skiing delight if conditions are right. The first part of the descent leads over generous slopes down to Stierlochjoch. From there it goes through the impressive Stierloch out to Zug.
Author’s recommendation
With skins, you can climb about 450 meters from Stierlochjoch towards Mehlsack and be rewarded with one of the longest north-facing descents in the entire Arlberg area. As always, the conditions must also be right for this variant!

The first crossing from Madloch can be tricky. Those unfamiliar with the area should not lay the first track here!Tips and suggestions
Roadbook
From the Madloch mountain station, you turn directly southwest and cross the large bowl below the Upper Wildgrubenspitze. Soon the terrain flattens out and you can enjoy some nice turns along the ridge. At a suitable spot, you then turn south, where everyone can make their own track down into the wide valley. However, you should not be tempted too far into the flat terrain towards Brazer Staffel, as the route continues north and otherwise you have to push back the flat section towards Sierlochjoch. From Stierlochjoch, it always goes north through the Stierloch to Zug. Soon you will come across a hiking trail that leads you to the chairlift.
