Selected alternatives for you
An easy variant that can also be skied well under more challenging conditions. The terrain is not very demanding. With skillful track choice, you can still find good powder even in stronger sunshine.

The Abendweide is a great variant for intermediate skiers. It is not very long and there are no big drops or steep terrain sections. The crossing is sometimes a bit tedious but can be managed well in 10 minutes. Since you come out directly at the valley station of the Steinmähderbahn again, you can easily do the run two or three times.
Author’s recommendation
Go out the entire bowl before starting the descent. You might be tempted to enter earlier, but the snow gets better towards the end of the bowl as it gets less sun.

Roadbook
From the Steinmähderbahn mountain station, leave the ski slope directly below the station heading west. Near the rocks, traverse the slope until you reach a wide slope that leads into a flat, wide saddle. From here, you must move south for about 10 minutes sideways, passing the distinctive rock spur of the Tälispitz. At a suitable spot, enter the large bowl down to the stream bed. It is important not to lose sight of the small hut on the other side of the stream. This should be aimed for when you want to return to the Steinmähderbahn valley station. However, you can also continue down into the valley and there reach the ski route leading to the chairlift in Zug.
