A longer hut route that goes once all around the southeasternmost tip of Germany. Very varied, partly over less frequented paths in the Berchtesgaden area (Wasseralm-Hochbrunnsulzen, Hochwies-Seehorn, Hirschbichl-New Traunsteiner Hut via Leimbichl valleys). Some summits require experience, sure-footedness and a head for heights (especially Großes Teufelshorn, Kahlersberg, Schönfeldspitze), but the summits are optional. Some sections require 6-7 hours of pure walking time demanding good stamina. Along the way, you can see many animals, including ibex, chamois, deer, capercaillie, marmot, common European adder, nutcracker, black woodpecker.
