To start, follow the trail tracks to the southwestern end of the ridge. The beginning of the climb is not really defined; the first pitch in difficulty grade II leads about 30m to a ledge under the first overhang (belay with bolt and piton). The 2nd pitch climbs right, about 35m to the belay under the steep tower. This is overcome on the edge on the left: in a crack to a bolt and then left to the edge for the key move IV and the stand on the ridge at bolts with chain. Here the ridge becomes flatter and easier, climbing on a running rope is well possible here. The striking tower with a safety bar can optionally be climbed and then rappelled off. A somewhat steeper overhang then leads back to the ridge (bolt, IV-). Beautiful climbing to the summit, where the main summit is reached without climbing over a scree field. For the descent, continue following the ridge, bypassing a steeper spot on the left onto the yellow marked descent path (T4). The south face of the 3 Horlini offers excellent sport climbing routes.
