Voie Ravanel (Aiguilles Crochues, La Flégère)
The Voie Ravanel offers 14 pitches over 410 meters of climbing. It can be divided into two parts. The first part proceeds at a uniform difficulty between 5b and 5c over 7 pitches on the south face up to the second part on the east ridge. The continuation on the ridge is considerably easier climbing (2-4a), with one pitch again more difficult (5c), up to the southern summit of the Aiguilles Crochues. The second part can be climbed a lot on a running rope. It is also possible to protect from belay to belay (depending on condition). Overall, a great alpine undertaking with amazing views, good protection and a still somewhat demanding descent to the Col des Aiguilles Crochues (T5/I-II, protect if needed and rappel once shortly before the col).
