Seekopf South climbing garden with approach from Lünersee cable car mountain station
Very well equipped climbing garden in an alpine environment. Rough rock, good protection, south exposure.
Unfortunately, the climbing routes in the Seekopf east face have been officially closed due to falling rocks. However, a great climbing garden was created a few years ago in the Seekopf south face, halfway to the Totalphütte. The rock is rough, grippy, and offers various climbs for at least one day. Those with more time can already get into shape here for the long climbing routes on the Hüttenkopf, next to the Totalphütte.
All routes were established by Toni Schallert in 2014 - 2015, are very well protected and marked. Thanks to Andi Schmidt for the assistance.
Author’s recommendation
There are more climbing gardens in the area; a multi-day stay is worthwhile.
- Brand climbing garden, 5 minutes from the valley station
- Hüttenkopf climbing garden with multi-pitch routes
- Via ferrata at the Brand climbing garden
Derived from the technical difficulty and the stamina requirements.
