Piz Linard southeast ridge from the Linard hut
Author’s recommendation
An overnight stay at the (2327 m) is worthwhile!
The very nicely situated small mountain hut is run voluntarily by members of the SAC section Engiadina Bassa. We had a great atmosphere and a lot of fun.

Roadbook
Follow the stream from the hut to the mountain lake Lai da Glims. We already switched directly at the lake (a bit earlier than on the normal path) over the steep grass and scree slope to the ridge (approx. 2,700m). This way you stay on the ridge a bit longer. It continues pathless through rocky terrain. Just before Linard Pitschen there is an approx. 20 m high abseil spot. After that, easy climbing again up to the summit. Finding the way is not that easy. But with some feeling, it works quite well.
The descent was made via the normal route through the south face. When several people are in there, there is a danger of rockfall – helmet mandatory! Also partly considerable old snowfields. Follow the trail signs and cairns to the mountain lake Lai da Glims and continue to Chamonna Linard …
