Easy unsecured climbing over 900 meters of elevation gain to the summit, combined with a short bike ride to Ferchensee.
The route starts from Mittenwald by bike (about 25-30 minutes gently uphill). Then, approach the climbing area from Ferchensee. The wonderful climbing requires some time because it covers about 900 meters of elevation gain and involves dangers due to the UIAA I-II difficulty level and requires caution. From the summit, there is a great view of the Karwendel massif, the ridge line towards Innsbruck, the Zugspitze, and the Alpine foothills. The return is the same interesting route as the outward journey.

It's two years now since i've started my vocational training here at Outdooractive as an IT engineer. Thanks to the steady development of our technology there are lots interesting and exiting things to do! I'm proud to be here and take this chance to increase my own performance and knowledge together with the performance of the platform. Solving new problems and finding solutions is why i am here, this it what makes me fell good and what makes my training precious! I spend most of the time that is left in my favourite organisation "Bergwacht Bayern". The Bavarian Mountain Rescue combines many hobbies together with the duty to help mountaineers in trouble. All that with our basic principle "Summer or winter, every time, at every location, under any weather conditions." in mind. The Allgäu is my home, even though there are really nice places on the earth, my favourite is still the Allgäu.
