Beautiful, not too difficult climbing route on a 3000-meter peak, which is much less frequented due to its proximity to the much better-known Cima Presanella. The climbing itself is never harder than grade IV, but still offers steep and very nice pitched climbing sections, which are also excellently protected with spits. The belay stations are drilled as well, and route finding is relatively easy. A great route for all lovers of enjoyable climbing. As a highlight, you can also continue climbing along the ridge to Cima Presanella. Additional time required is about 1.5 hours. The only downside is the long approach and descent.

After the moraine, leave the path and go straight ahead, off-trail over large blocks and stones directly below the well-visible Monte Nero. The start is almost in a direct fall line to the summit (see topo). Descent: rappel 5 times with double rope along the route. Then return the same way as the ascent.
