Man Ilia (sport climbing sector, Parete Zebrata/Sonnenplatten)
Difficulty: one spot 5a, otherwise 3c and 4a The route has a total of 6 pitches covering 220 climbing meters and is characterized by long traverses. Due to good protection with bolts and thread slings and moderate difficulty, this route is very popular among beginners in multi-pitch climbing. The climbing leads over slabby but well-grippy corners and gripping slab sections up to the large scree field below the huge wall area of Monte Brento. From the highest point of Monte Brento, base jumpers repeatedly leap down the wall in free fall. On the day of our ascent, several base jumpers were visible in the sky. The descent goes over the scree field to the left and back through the forest to the start. Then follows the known path back to the parking lot.
