Madagasikara (Grande Floria, La Flégère)
The route offers 7 pitches over 250 meters of climbing over partly steep and homogeneous wall climbing on the best Chamonix gneiss. The crux is located on a steep wall on the 4th pitch (6a/5c, A0), which can also be overcome with aid climbing. After the first five pitches, you find yourself on a grass and scree ledge. From here, there are two more pitches up to the plateau. Alternatively, you can traverse left from here and either abseil down the slope or descend on foot to the base of the wall. If you climb further, you have to abseil down a gully (difficulty: 2) from the plateau. Protection is very good with bolts; mobile protection is unnecessary. The view of the opposite Mont Blanc massif makes every mountaineer's heart beat faster. Due to the moderate total length, you can also easily climb another route afterward.
