Isis (Parete San Paolo North, San Paolo, Monte Colt)

Difficulty: one spot 6c/A0 (5c obligatory), otherwise between 5a and 6a, new variant in the 3rd pitch one spot 6a+/A0 The route "Isis" belongs to the shorter routes at the Parete San Paolo with four pitches and 150 climbing meters. The first, third and fourth pitches were repositioned in 2017 on nicer and rougher rock by Heinz Grill, Florian Kluckner and companions. The second pitch, which leads up through the red wall to the overhangs, is probably the highlight of the route. The blocks should be handled with some caution. The difficult spot (6c/A0) in the third pitch can now be overcome by a variant to the left in easier terrain (6a+/A0). Friends in the cracks can make climbing a bit calmer but are not strictly necessary. The lead climber should master the indicated difficulties to have fun.
