Croce di Ceniga (392m) SE wall "Via Crucis" VII (eKN VI+)
The routes at "Croce" are entertaining new openings that use traverses to get the "best possible" from the small rock ridge. They thus offer a good half-day activity.
We climbed 2 routes. The "Via Crucis" is the more accessible and reliably secured of the two, while the "Catia" was set up in a "grill style" and thus requires alpine knowledge and risk management. The hardest sections can be technically climbed in both routes. The rock is good, partly excellent, but sometimes botanically enriched. Route category: Pleasurable route/Alpine classic Anchor hardware: Belays: Bolt | Quickdraw: Bolt, Sandglass Protection: good Rock: Limestone Rock quality: good / superb Difficulty: easy / medium Beauty: ★★★ Information status: 2021 Read me! about route characterization from topoguide.de. The track for this route was not recorded on site but researched to the best of knowledge and belief. Please do not rely solely on the GPS track but use the wording of the route description.
