Croce di Ceniga (392m) SE face "Via Catia" VIII (eKN VII)
The routes at "Croce" are entertaining new developments, which make the "best possible" out of the small rock bar using traverses. They thus offer a good half-day occupation.
We climbed 2 routes. The "Via Crucis" is the more accessible and reliably secured of the two, while the "Catia" was set up in "grill style" and thus requires alpine expertise and risk management. The hardest sections in both routes can be climbed technically. The rock is good, sometimes excellent, but occasionally botanically adorned.
