Aletsch Arena - Climbing garden Bettmerhorn Hohbalm
*** The climbing opportunities on Bettmeralp are now also published in "Plaisir West Volume II" ***
A new climbing garden "Bettmerhorn Hohbalm" with several sectors is being created below the Bettmerhorn cable car mountain station. It is conveniently reachable from the mountain station within 15 minutes and is also suitable for families and groups.
Sectors:
- Kids Corner, 5 routes, 3a ... 5a
- Hohbalm Egga, 9 routes, 3c ... 5a
- Lengi Want, 21 routes, 4a ... 6b+
In many routes the rope can also be clipped from above (for top-rope climbing).
Important notes:
- As with every climbing garden, good rope and belay knowledge is required.
- Use of the climbing garden is at your own risk.
The climbing garden is still under development. More sectors and routes will be added in the coming years. Have fun!
Willi Metzger and team.
