Die Spessart Tourismus und Marketing GmbH hat zum Ziel die Marke „Spessart“ und die damit verbundenen touristischen Angebote zu koordinieren, erfolgreich zu vermarkten und im Wettbewerb zu positionieren. Auch die Initiierung und Förderung von Kooperationen der regionalen Leistungsträger zählt zu den wichtigen Aufgaben der Tourismusorganisation. Es wurde ein strategischer Entwicklungsplan erstellt der die wegweisende Richtung für die Destination vorgibt.
