The Mayenne department is a paradise for all hiking enthusiasts, whether they are looking for thrills or rather well-being and zenitude. 

There are more than 3000 kilometers of footpaths available for outdoor activities, including 700 kilometers in our territory made up of 34 municipalities. 

A first community circuit has been developed around the first 20 municipalities of the Laval agglomeration. This 200-kilometer circuit is set to expand to connect all the towns and villages in the territory. 

From this recently remodeled route, there are many other marked circuits crisscrossing the area. 

Harmoniously balanced around the central town and the countryside, Laval Agglomeration offers visitors simple and warm pleasures. 

The heritage is omnipresent here, planted in a natural setting full of charm and authenticity, allowing true tourism oriented both toward the peaceful character and the attractiveness of the many leisure activities offered. 

The sense of hospitality is a virtue of this territory where one naturally knows how to welcome with a human dimension and remain attentive to everyone's expectations.

The creation of this new path offers diversification of the "hiking" offer with connections to the VéloFrancette (Ouistreham – La Rochelle) and linking the Marche de Bretagne (Vitré – Fougères). 

The Vélofrancette (V43), a genuine backbone for hiking in the Mayenne department in all its forms, combining the pleasure of self-challenge through sport with the discovery of heritage, whether environmental or historical. 

From this axis, you can take a multitude of circuits and enjoy varied outdoor activities with evolving levels of difficulty.

Here, all disciplines are practiced freely: hiking, horseback riding, cycling and mountain biking, and even canoeing on the Mayenne river.
