The Tour de Gironde by bike allows you to vary the pleasures along its 480 km. Seaside atmosphere, endless forests, irresistible Bordeaux vineyards, all punctuated by exceptional heritage: each section of the route offers a thousand delights. 

For hikers, the same diversity during the great crossings: on one of the three paths of Compostela or on the GR6 which runs through the vineyards of Entre-deux-Mers and Sauternes to finish on the Arcachon Bay, each day offers a change of scenery.

Every hiking loop, every bike route is rich in discoveries. 18 Iconic sites in Gironde, 14 sites listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, and over 1000 tourist sites labeled Vineyards and Discoveries, are inexhaustible sources of wonder for the whole family.

A Gironde accessible to all

Our favorite? The Wheelchair Walks (BR®) created by our partner, FFRandonnée Gironde. These are short, peaceful walks, with a stroller or a small bike, or adapted for people with reduced mobility (in a wheelchair). Some are even labeled Tourism & Disability. There are more than sixty of them in Gironde!
