Forest Camping Mozirje is located near the village of Loke pri Mozirju directly on the banks of Alpine river Savinja. It is the perfect starting point for active holidays and exploring the Kamnik-Savinja Alps, where outdoor experiences are intertwined with the tranquility of unspoiled nature.

The camp offers a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere, as music is prohibited in the camp, and offers both spacious camping areas and fully equipped accommodation. We especially recommend the original wooden houses, which represent the heritage of rafting on the Savinja River. Guests can pitch their tents, park their trailers, campers or vans, rent ready-made tent accommodation with all bedding or sleep in a hammock under the stars.

Swimming in the river that flows right next to the camp is almost impossible to refuse - perfect natural cooling.

The camp offers a wide range of sports and outdoor activities suitable for all ages. At the campsite you can play volleyball, badminton, try your hand at slacklining or rent mountain, gravel, road or e-mountain bikes to explore the surroundings. The Upper Savinja Valley is a real gem for cyclists. There are also bike storage facilities, bike repair tools with a workshop and helpful advice from the staff, including GPX navigation.

In cooperation with local providers, we also organize adrenaline-filled experiences such as rafting, canyoning, kayaking, paragliding and much more.

Guests can socialize in various common areas. Five open fireplaces are perfect for grilling or evening socializing, and our fully equipped covered outdoor kitchen is the right place for morning coffee or tea from our herb garden. And really – what’s better than grilling trout to the sounds of a guitar and the gentle murmur of the river?

For additional comfort, there is a camp bakery, a small shop with local fresh products and a delicious range of breakfasts and fresh snacks from our kitchen.

The sanitary facilities are located near the accommodation area, and guests often praise our eco-friendly outdoor showers made of natural materials. Forest Camping Mozirje also offers fast Wi-Fi, a mini library, a children's playground, a forest educational trail and several sports areas (basketball, five-a-side football) - everything you need for an authentic experience of nature.

Forest Camping Mozirje is 55 km from Ljubljana Airport and 30 km from Celje. We are only 16 km away from the A1 motorway - take the Šentrupert exit and follow the direction Mozirje - Logarska dolina. In Mozirje, follow the Forest Camping signs.
