Bergwacht Kempten Verified partner 

We rescue people from difficult terrain, search for missing persons, and are part of disaster relief.

Currently, we are 25 active rescue workers and 14 candidates.

Our operational area extends over the greater Kempten area from Waltenhofen to Hellengerst, Stoffelberg, Hauchenberg, Sonneckgrat to Sibratshofen below Riedholzer Kugel to Wenger Egg, Eschach- & Kreuztal, Häfeliswald, Oberkürnach, Wiggensbach, Ermengerst, Mariaberg and Wirlings. The nature reserves Eschacher Weiher, Rohrbach- & Hölzlerstobel are embedded within. Additionally, we are available for operations in the Kempten forest and the surrounding communities as well as the paragliding launch site Schrattenbach.

In winter, we supervise the ski areas at Grünten, in Jungholz, and in Ofterschwang.
